I am tired of having my mom complaining about how too tan I am getting and discouraging me from spending time outdoors just because my skin gets a few shades darker. She can take a lesson or two from these monkeys.

Tomorrow I am going to bask near the pseudo-lake near my house atop a blanket with a great read and just let the rays excite that melanin. We’re all primates right?
