Oh, well you just take two contrasting images, place them side-by-side and then write a silly caption romanticizing the past while condemning the present in an oversimplified attempt at “social commentary” or something. Publish on Tumblr and watch the notes pile up. It’s really simple.

I don’t think they’re referring to the clothes. Girls back in the day took pride in being a lady in the streets. The whole lady in the streets thing is hard to accomplish when you look “sexy” because when you’re perceived to be sexy by the eye (rather than sexy by nature), you’re just a girl that’s looking to get sexed. Men don’t know how to respect these types of girls and only have one thing in mind because they’re visual creatures. Honestly the girls on the right don’t leave much to the imagination of the visual male eye. So there is no such thing as lady in the streets to the freak in the sheets paradigm. Just slut all over. Girls need to leave some stuff to the imagination and treat their body as a reward for men to ogle at by covering up a little more. & they should dress for themselves in what they feel to be comfortable. That’s just my opinion. You can share it at your own will.
